| The genre of this movie is horror-comedy, which are my favourite genres. I watched this movie on my friends party, and its pretty funny to see how scared we were! Movie Summary: A newly wed couple Dan and Jody begin to notice some bizarre activity once they bring their nieces and nephew (Dan's brother's children) home, since they were lost after there fathers death. But when the chaos expands into Jody's job as a ballet dancer and Dan's career as an Ape researcher, they realize their family is being stalked by a evil demon (mama). Together, with the advice of a psychic and the aid of numerous surveillance cameras, they must figure out how to get rid of it before it's too late. My Opinion: I never expected to have jump-scares in this movie. Most of the plot is from the horror movie Mama, I think if you didn't watch the movie Mama you would be a little confuse at first, but would catch on later. They did a pretty good job of the transition of horror to comedy and vice versa. I think they made this movie a little bit inappropriate for children, the rating of this movie id PG 13. |

My Opinion:
I think that the graphic quality of this movie is pretty good for a 90's movie. The humor added to this movie is hilarious. I think they did a pretty good job repeating almost every scene over and over again then adding new ones after. Bill Murray did an excellent performance in this movie. The ending is very satisfying and its great that Phil Connors learned something from this experience. Nicholas's View: I think that when the guy who talks to the groundhog was crazy! There was also the fact that the news reporter started to realize how people in the town are affected by that one day and how the day kept on deleting its self! The idea of relying on a little rodent was very weird and awkward. We would like to give our condolences to the director of the movie, Harold Ramis!
